Woodinville, Wash. (October
26, 2007)
Willows Lodge,
a romantic resort located outside of Seattle in the heart of Woodinville
Wine Country, was recently recognized as Number 45 in Condé Nast
Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards in the Top 50 Mainland U.S.
Resorts category. Willows Lodge is one of only two Washington resorts
to receive this honor. The awards appear in the November 2007 issue.
The Readers’ Choice Awards are determined from an annual poll of Condé Nast Traveler readers that has numbered more than a half million since 1988. This year, Willows Lodge received a total of 84.5 out of 100 possible points. Properties were rated in the categories of food/dining, location, rooms, overall design and service.
“We are honored to be recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler,” said Steven Boswell, general manager of Willows Lodge. “Willows Lodge has always made it a goal to present what is best about the Pacific Northwest to our guests from around the world. We’re very happy to see that this has made Willows an international success.”
Among other awards, Willows Lodge has also been placed on the Condé Nast Traveler “Gold List” as one of the best places to stay in the world; named a Top 15 Hotel by Washington CEO; received the 2004 Bronze Medal for the Best Wine List in the United States by Restaurant Hospitality and was selected by Travel + Leisure readers as a World’s Best Hotel and one of the 50 Most Romantic Getaways.
